Am I eligible for a refund?
Updated over a week ago

If you’re reading this article, then you might be thinking of requesting a refund for your Planner 5D subscription. We do want our customers to be happy with the application, hence if any issue arises - first of all we kindly ask you to visit our Help center, or send an email to [email protected] describing the reasons of your request.

Here is what else you have to know before requesting a refund:

  1. According to our Refund Policy, Planner 5D subscriptions as well as items packs are non-refundable digital content except for the following cases:

    1. your bank card/PayPal account was stolen or compromised, and thus has been charged without your authorization. In this case your payment service provider (i.e. bank or other credit institution) is responsible for a refund of such unauthorized payment. We suggest you immediately contact your payment service provider in case of such an unauthorized transaction to get further proper guidance.

    2. the delivered digital content is proven to be defective within 14 days of the purchase date. In this case we kindly ask you to send us the description of defect (you will need to add screenshots or other material confirming that the content is defective). We will examine your case and will do our best to remedy the defect if it occurred due to the reasons attributable to Planner 5D. If confirmed that the defect cannot be promptly rectified by us, we will offer you a refund.

  2. We are not technically able to change, cancel or refund the subscriptions purchased via App Store or Microsoft Store due to their policies. These subscriptions are fully controlled by these stores, not by Planner 5D.

  3. If App Store charged a Yearly subscription after the 3-day trial we will not be able to help you with the refund due to the reasons described in par. 2. Please thoroughly read the rules of the 3-day trial set by App Store before you choose this type of subscription: if you signed up for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you fail to follow this rule, you are not eligible for a refund according to the App Store policy.

Kindly note that you can only activate the trial period once. If you try getting the trial the second time – Apple will charge the whole amount of the chosen subscription off your account. You are not eligible for a refund in this case either.

  4. If you accidentally paid twice for the same subscription - we can refund one of those two, or offer extension of the subscription.

  5. If you accidentally purchased a Commercial and an Individual subscription at the same time – we can only refund the individual one, or offer extension of your commercial subscription. Please note that using Individual subscription for commercial purpose is not allowed.

  6. If you accidentally purchased a Monthly and a Yearly subscription at the same time, we can refund one of those two according to your choice, or offer extension of the subscription.

  7. Planner 5D uses the system of recurring payments for subscriptions: your card is automatically charged at the beginning of every billing period depending on the subscription type you’ve chosen (i.e. monthly, yearly, etc.). If you want to stop further subscription renewals, you should cancel your subscription in the settings. We do not issue refunds for the charges made before the cancellation request.

If your case is not covered by the general cases above - please reach out directly to [email protected], and we will do our best to find the solution for each situation!
