How to transfer objects between projects

You can move content between projects either by duplicating an entire project or by copying individual objects between projects on Web. The method you use depends on whether you want to keep the whole project or transfer only a specific object.

Duplicate an entire project on iOS

Use this option when you want to create another version of the same project.

  1. Open the Planner 5D app on your iOS device.

  2. Go to My Projects at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Find the project you want to duplicate.

  4. Long-press the project thumbnail to open the quick menu.

  5. Select Duplicate.

The duplicated project appears in your project list.

Copy an object between projects on Web

On Web, you can copy an individual object from one project and paste it into another.

  1. Open the project that contains the object you want to copy.

  2. In a separate browser tab or window, open the project where you want to add the object.

  3. Select the object you want to copy.

  4. Copy the object using:

    • Ctrl + C on Windows

  5. Switch to the browser tab or window containing the destination project.

  6. Paste the object using:

    • Ctrl + V on Windows

The copied object is added to the destination project.
