How to duplicate a project

You can create several copies of your project, ensuring that the original version remains untouched while you continue working on and developing your ideas.

You can use the duplicated project to make changes while keeping the original project. The duplicated project will appear in your project list, and the copy will be synchronized across all platforms.

Web

  1. Open the correct Space.

  2. Select Floor Plans.

  3. Click the three dots next to the project you want to duplicate.

  4. Select Duplicate.

The duplicated project appears in your project list.

iOS

  1. Open the correct Space.

  2. Go to Floor Plans at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Find the project you want to duplicate.

  4. Long-press the project thumbnail to open the quick menu.

  5. Tap on Duplicate.

macOS

  1. Open your Projects page

  2. Find the project you wish to copy

  3. Click on three dots

  4. Tap on Duplicate

Android

Open the correct Space.

  1. Go to Floor Plans at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Find the project you want to copy.

  3. Click on the three dots menu

  4. Tap on Copy.

Windows

  1. Open the Planner 5D app on your Windows device.

  2. Go to My Projects and make sure the Projects tab is selected.

  3. Find the project you want to duplicate.

  4. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the project card.

  5. Select Duplicate from the menu.

  6. Wait for the duplicated project to appear in My Projects.
