In Planner 5D on iOS, there are two ways to add an outdoor terrace:
Use a ready-made terrace from the catalogue
Build your own from scratch
How to use a ready-made terrace from the catalogue
Open your project.
In the bottom menu, tap Construction.
Select Terraces from the list.
Choose the terrace model that comes closest to your idea and tap to add it to your project.
Drag it into the right position.
Building a terrace from scratch
Step 1: Create the terrace floor (2D)
Open your project and switch to 2D view.
Add a room.
Add another room/shape next to the first one — this will be the terrace base — and hide all the walls.
Select this terrace shape and hide its roof.
Move it so it sits flush against the exterior wall of your main room.
Adjust the size and position until it matches your desired terrace layout.
Step 2: Apply an outdoor finish (3D)
Switch to 3D view.
Open the Materials/Textures panel.
Choose an outdoor-appropriate finish (decking, tiles, stone, etc.).
Apply it to the terrace area.
Optional: Add columns and a simple cover (pergola/roof effect)
If you’d like a covered terrace:
In 3D, open Construction and select Columns.
Place the columns along the terrace edge.
Add a top element (a Magic Cube will work well).
Resize and position it to create a cover over the terrace.
Adjust everything so the columns and cover line up neatly with the house.
Quick tips
If the terrace doesn’t attach properly in 2D, zoom in and move it slightly closer until the edges meet.
Start with the basics (floor + material) before adding details like columns or a roof — it makes the design process smoother.
