Before you scan
Ensure the space is well-lit—turn on all available lights and open any curtains or shutters.
Plan your route ahead of time. You’ll need to do a single, uninterrupted scan of the entire property, including all levels and any detached structures like garages or porches.
Make sure all doors are open before starting. Avoid opening or closing them while scanning.
How to Scan Effectively
Keep the camera pointed straight ahead and slightly downward as you walk, capturing walls and floors simultaneously.
Maintain a distance of approximately 1.5 to 2 meters from walls and furniture, but don’t exceed 4 meters, as greater distances will reduce accuracy.
Avoid standing in the center of rooms and rotating. Instead, move side-to-side to fully cover the area.
In narrow or tight spaces, slowly back out instead of turning around. If an area is extremely tight, try scanning from just outside the doorway.
Additional Tips
If something isn't clearly captured during scanning, it won’t appear in the final project.
Don’t point the camera directly at the floor or ceiling unless you're capturing specific elements located there.
Move slowly when scanning kitchens for better detail and higher-quality results.
Do not close the app while scanning. Otherwise the scan will fail.
Max length of the video is 12 minutes. If you exceed that limit - the scan will fail.
