You can resize a room in 2D mode by dragging its walls or by entering an exact wall length dimension.
Resize a room by dragging a wall
Switch to 2D mode.
Select the wall you want to resize.
Drag the wall to increase or decrease the size of the room.
Release the mouse button when the room reaches the desired size.

Switch to 2D mode.
Select the wall you want to resize.
In the bottom toolbar, locate the wall length field.
Enter the desired wall length.
Press Enter to apply the new dimension.
The room updates automatically to reflect the new wall length.
