Note: This feature is currently available only on the Web platform, and we're working on bringing it to all other platforms.
As your project becomes more detailed, you may want to keep finished parts of your design unchanged while you continue working.
Turning on Lock Furniture is useful when:
You've finished arranging your furniture and want to keep everything in place.
You're working on other parts of the project and want to avoid moving furniture by accident.
You want to review or work with your layout without accidentally changing the placement of furniture and other items.
Once Lock Furniture is turned on, furniture and other items can't be moved or modified. To make changes again, simply turn the option off.
Lock furniture on Web
Open your project.
Click the Settings icon in the top menu.
Open the Project tab.
Find Lock Furniture.
Turn on Lock Furniture.
Your furniture and other items will now stay in place while you continue working on your project.
Unlock furniture
When you're ready to move or make changes to your furniture again:
Click the Settings icon.
Open the Project tab.
Turn off Lock Furniture.
You can now continue moving and modifying furniture and other items in your project.
How to Turn Lock Furniture On and Off
Open the project.
Click the Settings icon in the top menu.
Open the Project tab.
Turn on Lock Furniture to prevent furniture and other items from being moved or modified.
To make changes again, return to the same settings and turn off the relevant option.
You can now continue moving and modifying furniture and other items in your project.
