A Report Generator creates a downloadable multi-page property report for your current Planner 5D project in a PDF format.
You can choose which project information and views to include, adjust the report settings, and download the completed PDF to your device.
Before You Start
Export to PDF is available to Free, Premium, and PRO users.
The feature is only available on the Web.
To open Report generator:
Open your project in the Editor;
Hover over the name of the project;
Click Export.
Select Report generator.
Choose what to include in your PDF
Choose the pages you want to include in your report:
Include all pages
Home report
Blueprint
2D floor plan
3D renders
Elevation
Selecting Include all pages selects all available options.
When you select an option, the corresponding pages are added to your report and begin loading. Pages belonging to the same option are grouped together, and selecting one of these pages highlights the entire group.
Important: If you close Report Generator without generating the report, your selections and the progress of pages that are still loading are lost.
Adjust a 2D floor plan page
You can make the following changes to 2D floor plan pages before creating your PDF:
Orientation - change the orientation of the selected page.
Move - reposition the floor plan on the page.
Zoom in/zoom out - adjust the size of the floor plan on the page.
Generate your PDF
When all selected pages have finished loading, select Generate.
Note: You can't select Generate while any of the selected content is still loading. Wait until everything has finished loading before continuing.
Before creating the PDF, you can adjust:
Page preview - review the selected pages and move between them.
Page margins - adjust the margins of the PDF pages. The default value is 10.
Page orientation - choose the orientation of the PDF pages.
Add info card - add an information card to 2D floor plan, 3D render, and Elevation pages. The same information appears on each page where the card is included.
The info card can include:
A title.
A description.
When you're ready, select Export to start creating the report.
Wait for your PDF to be created
After you select Export, Preparing your files for export appears while your report is being created. This typically takes up to 20 minutes.
If you close this message, the PDFs list opens and shows that your report is still in progress. You can't download the report until it's ready.
Download your PDF
When your report is ready, you can:
Select Open export space.
Select Download the file to save the PDF to your device.
Manage previously created PDFs
The PDFs list contains the reports you've created for the current project.
A completed report can be:
Downloaded to your device.
Deleted from the PDFs list.
Important: A deleted report can't be restored.
Print vs. Report Generator
Planner 5D offers two options for exporting project information to PDF.
