How to use Smart Wizard

Smart Wizard helps you create and furnish a room by choosing its shape, dimensions, room type, and style. Depending on your device, some steps and options may be different.

Smart Wizard helps you build and furnish a room in a chosen style. You can use Smart Wizard when starting a new project or while working on an existing project.


Before You Start

Open Smart Wizard using one of the following options.

Start a new project with Smart Wizard or open Smart Wizard while working on an existing project.

How to use Smart Wizard

Step 1: Choose a Room type

❗️This step is available on iOS and Android.

  • For Web: You'll choose the room type later, together with the room style.

  1. Select one of the following room types:

    • Bathroom

    • Bedroom

    • Living room

    • Child room

    • Office

    • Kitchen

  2. After selecting a room type, tap Next to continue.

Step 2: Choose a room shape

Web

  1. Click a room shape to display it on the plan.

  2. Check the rulers beside the walls to see the inner and outer wall lengths.

  3. If needed, use the following options:

    • Rotate to rotate the room shape clockwise.

    • Flip horizontal to flip the room from left to right.

    • Flip vertical to flip the room from top to bottom.


iOS and Android

  1. Scroll through the available room shapes.

  2. Select a room shape.

  3. The selected room shape appears at the top of the screen.

  4. You can also swipe the bottom of the screen to browse other room shapes.

  5. A message above the list shows that you can swipe to change the room shape.

  6. Tap Next to continue.

Step 3: Set the room dimensions

Web

  1. Use the sliders on the left to change the wall lengths.

  2. Each slider matches the color of one or more walls on the plan. Moving a slider or entering a value changes the matching wall.

  3. Use the cm/inch toggle to change the units of measurement.

  4. Check the rulers on the plan to see the inner and outer wall lengths.


iOS

You can:

  • Flip the room horizontally or vertically.

  • Change the units of measurement between cm and ft.

  • Edit the wall lengths.

Tap Next to continue.

Android

You can:

  • Change the units of measurement between cm and ft.

  • Edit the wall lengths.

  • Change the position of doors and windows.

Tap Next to continue.


Step 4: Choose a room type and style

Web

The room type and room style options are displayed on the left side of the screen.

Room type

  • Select a room type.

  • The room is automatically updated with furniture that matches the selected room type.

  • The selected room type is highlighted with a green frame and a check mark.

Room style

  • Select a room style.

  • The room is automatically updated to match the selected style.

  • The selected room style is highlighted with a green frame.

Room preview

On the right side of the screen, you can:

  • Preview the room with the selected room type and style.

  • Rotate the room by clicking and holding the left mouse button, then moving the mouse.

  • Click Shuffle to randomly change the room layout.

Click Complete to save the room and add it to your plan.


iOS and Android

You can:

  • Preview the room in 3D.

  • Rotate the room preview.

  • Tap More to change the furniture layout.

  • Browse the available room styles.

  • Select a room style to update the preview automatically.

  • Wait while the selected design loads.

The only difference here is in the finishing phase:

  • On iOS tap Complete to add the room to your project.

  • On Android tap Next to add the room to your project.

Where the room is added

The location of the new room depends on your platform.

When adding a room to an existing plan, the room is added to the top-right corner of the existing room layout.

iOS

When you start Smart Wizard from Editor → Catalog → Rooms, the room is added to the right side of an existing room. If you start Smart Wizard from New Project, a new project containing the room is created.

Android

The room is added to the bottom-right corner of an existing room.
