How to upload a custom texture

You can upload your own textures and apply them to supported walls, floors, and objects. The available workflow depends on the platform you are using.

Before you start

  • Free accounts include 5 custom texture uploads.

  • Each upload uses one texture slot and deleting an uploaded texture does not restore a texture slot.

  • You can purchase additional texture packs from your Profile on any platform.

  • Uploaded images must be high-quality and between 512 × 512 px and 1024 × 1024 px.

  • On macOS, uploading custom textures is not currently supported.

Manage texture slots

You can check the number of available texture slots in your Profile on any platform and if you need more uploads, you can purchase an additional texture pack from your Profile.

About Pick texture on Web

When you use Pick texture, the material sidebar is hidden so it doesn't cover the color or texture you want to select. After you select an item, such as furniture or a room, the textures pop-up opens again.

How Pick texture works

When you're choosing a floor material:

  1. Select the room.

  2. Open the material sidebar by clicking the materials menu item.

  3. Select Floor material.

  4. Click Pick texture. The sidebar is hidden so you can select a color or texture without it being covered.

  5. Click an item, such as furniture or a room. The textures pop-up opens again.

About exact texture scale and rotation on Web

You can enter exact values when adjusting the scale and rotation of a texture in the Web Editor. This gives you more control than using the sliders alone when you need a specific scale or rotation angle.

Set an exact rotation angle

When rotating a texture, you can enter the exact angle you want instead of adjusting the rotation only with the slider.

For example, you can enter 90° when you need the texture rotated to that exact angle.

Set an exact texture scale

You can also enter an exact value for the texture scale.

This makes it possible to set a specific scale, such as 100%, instead of ending up at a nearby value such as 90% or 110% when adjusting the scale.
