Use Edit to modify specific parts of an image while keeping the rest of the image unchanged. You can use it to remove objects, add items, change textures, or make other targeted changes.
Edit an image
Open an AI Studio canvas.
Select an image.
Click Edit
In the Change to make field, describe the change you want to make.
If the change should apply only to a specific part of the image, use one of the drawing tools to select the area.
Click Generate Edit.
Clear a selected area
If you have selected an area and want to clear it, click Clear selection.
View generation progress
After you start the generation:
A progress indicator is displayed while the image is being generated.
You can select the generation to view its progress.
The generated image appears below the original image when the process is complete.
