The Planner 5D iOS app includes two helpful tools that make designing easier and more precise: Lock Rooms and Hide Objects. These options help you stay focused, avoid accidental changes, and build a cleaner floor plan.
What “Lock Rooms” Does
Lock Rooms prevents any rooms or walls from being moved or modified.
This is useful when:
Your layout is already finalized
You want to avoid accidental shifts while placing furniture
You’re polishing the design and want to keep the structure intact
Once enabled, the room layout stays fixed until you unlock it again.
What “Hide Objects” Does
Hide Objects temporarily removes all furniture and objects from your plan.
This feature is perfect when:
You want to focus only on the 2D layout or room placement
Furniture is blocking your view
You’re reorganizing the structure and don’t want visual distractions
Objects are not deleted — just hidden from view until you turn them back on.
How to Lock Rooms or Hide Objects
Open your project in the Planner 5D iOS app.
Tap the three dots (⋯) in the top-right bar.
Select Settings.
You’ll see two separate toggles:
Lock Walls
Hide Objects
Switch either toggle on or off depending on your needs.
