Once you've got the house décor in place in Windows app, it's yard time! Whether it's crafting a stunning garden or setting up a cozy relaxation and/or barbecue zone, the goal is to create spaces perfect for enjoying with friends.
To start off, make sure to encircle your home with a well-maintained lawn.
Use the Objects menu → Exterior → Paths and lawns.
Opt for lawns of varying shapes to design a unique yard around your house.
Tip: do not overlay walls and rooms with the lawn (by creating one huge lawn and placing it right under your house). That can cause issues with rendering and 3D mode since layers will be conflicting. Carefully surround your home with lawn pieces as if you were building new rooms.
Select a lawn texture that mirrors reality more accurately.
Utilize the Ruler tool to measure your yard's dimensions.
After setting up the lawn, it's time to line your path with trees, bushes, and flowers.
Within the same category (Exterior objects), you have the option to choose and position barbecues, summer houses, or even a pool.
