Power of Grouping in Planner 5D: A Step-by-Step Guide

At the moment you can only group objects using the Web platform.

Updated over a year ago

Grouping multiple items currently available exclusively on the Web platform, but this feature significantly enhances the flexibility and convenience of your designing process.

It's important to note that all changes made on the web platform will be synced across all your other Planner 5D platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.

Here is a simple guide to help you use the grouping feature effectively:

  1. Select Your Items: Launch Planner 5D on your web browser. To start the grouping process, hold down the 'Shift' key. While keeping the key pressed, use your mouse to click and drag a selection box over the items you want to group together. This action will highlight all the desired items.

  2. Group Your Items: With the items now selected, you will notice the 'Group' option appearing near your selection. Click this 'Group' button. Your items will now be grouped together, behaving as a single unit.

  3. Move or Copy Your Group: Once your items are grouped, you can easily move or copy them as one unit. This allows you to maintain the relative layout of your design elements, reducing repetition and enhancing productivity.
