Creating Screenshots (Windows)
Updated over a year ago

Creating a render can give you a realistic view of your final design. It's an easy process with the Planner 5D Windows app. Just follow these simple steps to create your own renders.

  1. Opening Your Project;

    Start by opening the project you want to create a render of.

  2. Beginning the Rendering Process;

    Once your project is open, look for the Camera icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Click on this icon to begin the rendering process.

  3. Setting the Scene;

    With the Camera tool open, set your desired angle to capture the right scene. You can change your viewpoint, adjust the tilt, and zoom in or out. Once you're satisfied with the scene, click 'Save'.

  4. Configuring Render Settings;

    Now it's time to set your render settings:

    • Turn on the 'Automatic ceiling lighting' to achieve the best results. This will make your render look more realistic.

    • If you want to depict a nighttime scene, enable the 'Night mode'.

    • Choose the quality of your render. Options include 'Regular screenshot', 'Low-quality draft', and 'High-quality render'. The 'Regular screenshot' and 'Low-quality draft' options do not consume any render pack credits.

  5. Creating Your Render;

    Once you've set everything up, click the 'Create Snapshot' button. It might take a few minutes for us to create your render, so please be patient.

  6. Finding Your Render;

    After your render is created, you can find it in the 'Snapshots' section. You can access this section from the main screen of your Planner 5D Windows app.

Creating a render is an essential part of the design process, providing a realistic view of your work. We hope this guide helps you navigate the process in Planner 5D.
