Copilot: edit your project using voice or text
Copilot is Planner 5D’s built-in AI design assistant. You can give it a single task or ask it to help develop a whole space.
Use Copilot to:
Create floor plans and room layouts.
Arrange furniture.
Explore colors, materials, and finishes.
Plan indoor and outdoor spaces.
Prepare visualizations, material estimates, and project information.
How to get started
Describe what you want to create or change using voice or text.
Review the result.
Give follow-up instructions or adjust the project yourself in the 2D or 3D editor.
For example:
“Rearrange the living room to include a reading corner. Keep the sofa and leave the doorway clear.”
Your project remains editable, so you can continue refining it with Copilot or work manually in the editor. Learn about Copilot
Planner 5D in ChatGPT: develop a project through conversation
Connect Planner 5D to ChatGPT to turn an uploaded floor plan into an editable 2D and 3D project. You can then request furniture arrangements, colors, materials, and layout changes.
How to get started
Open the Planner 5D in ChatGPT page and select Connect Planner 5D.
Follow the account connection steps and review the requested permissions.
Upload a clear, empty floor plan with known dimensions and units.
Describe the design you want and identify anything that must stay.
Review the project in 2D and 3D, then request further changes.
For example:
“Furnish this apartment for two people. Include a dining table for four and keep all doors and windows in their current positions.”
Use the project’s Planner 5D link to open it in the editor and continue working there. Renders and 360° views depend on the visualization features available in your account. ChatGPT availability may also depend on your account and workspace settings. Learn about the ChatGPT connection
WebMCP: let an AI agent edit your open project
WebMCP allows compatible AI agents, such as supported Claude or Codex setups with a built-in browser, to use selected Planner 5D tools.
Depending on the available tools, your agent can:
Import a floor plan or create a room from a description.
Find and place catalog furniture.
Move, rotate, replace, or remove objects.
Change supported colors, textures, materials, and finishes.
Organize a room into functional zones.
Generate a visual preview.
How to get started
Open a WebMCP-compatible agent with a built-in browser.
Enter:
connect planner5d webmcpOpen Planner 5D in the agent’s browser, sign in, and open your project.
Keep the project tab open.
Ask the agent to describe the rooms and objects to check access, then request a change.
For example:
“Replace the dining chairs with smaller ones and keep the table where it is.”
WebMCP supports selected actions; some changes may require the Planner 5D editor.

Tips for requesting changes
For clearer instructions, include:
The location: which room or object to change.
The goal: what the space needs to do.
The constraints: what must stay, including dimensions and openings.
The style: preferred colors, materials, or references.
For example:
“In the bedroom, add a compact desk near the window. Keep the bed and wardrobe, leave the door clear, and use light wood finishes.”
Review each result before requesting the next change.
Availability and reviewing results
Available actions, usage limits, and charges depend on your account, subscription, connected assistant, and the tools you use. Check the access and terms shown in your account.
Before using a design for renovation, verify dimensions, openings, and furniture placement. Have a qualified professional review measurements and structural changes before construction. Planner 5D AI guidance
