How to fix rendering issues

If a render appears black or dark, gets stuck, or does not appear, check the lighting, camera position, project floor, and design for possible causes. You can also refresh the session or restart your device before trying the render again.

Black or dark renders

If your render appears too dark or black:

  1. Make sure your design has adequate lighting from windows, lamps, or other light sources.

  2. If the room has no lighting, enable Ceiling Light in the render settings to add ambient light.

  3. Check the camera position and make sure it is not too close to walls or objects.

  4. Leave some space behind the camera so it does not capture into nearby surfaces.

Stuck or missing renders

If a render is stuck or does not appear:

  1. Log out of your Planner 5D account and log back in to refresh the session.

  2. Restart your device.

  3. Check that you are viewing the correct floor of the project. If changes were made on a specific floor, render that floor again.

  4. Check the design for overlapping or duplicated elements.

  5. Remove or separate duplicated or overlapping elements, then create the render again.

Additional checks

For better rendering results:

  • Make sure the project has adequate lighting.

  • Keep the camera at a suitable distance from walls and objects.

  • On Web, periodically clear the browser cache.

  • Make sure you have the required render credits or subscription for the render you want to create.
