How to Remove or Restore a project (Spaces)

With the introduction of Spaces, deleting a project now removes it from that Space. If you delete the entire Space, all projects, renders, and files inside that Space are also deleted.

Projects or Spaces cannot be restored from your end. If you need help restoring the projects, please contact our Support team.


Before you remove a project

  • Deleting a project is permanent.

  • Deleting a Space removes everything inside it (projects, renders, files).

  • There is no in-app undo for deleted projects or Spaces.


How to remove a project

On Web:

  1. Open your Space.

  2. Locate the project you want to remove.

  3. Select the project options.

  4. Click Delete.

  5. Confirm the action.

On iOS:

  1. Open the Floor Plans;

  2. Choose the Project you wish to remove;

  3. Press and hold then;

  4. From the dropdown menu select:

  5. Delete

On Android:

  1. Go to Projects;

  2. From there click on the three dots;

  3. On the dropdown menu Select Delete

  4. Confirm the deletion

  5. Project is Removed

On Windows app:

  1. Open the Planner 5D app.

  2. Navigate to the 'My Projects' section.

  3. Locate the project you wish to archive, then click on the three dots icon in the lower right corner of the project's thumbnail.

  4. Click on the "Delete" option.

Your project will now removed from your active project list.


How to restore a deleted project or Space

Projects and Spaces cannot be restored within the app. If something was deleted, you’ll need to contact the Support team.

  • Check if you may have multiple accounts (this is a common reason projects appear missing)

  • Are logged into the correct account;

  • Check if you may have multiple accounts (this is a common reason projects appear missing);

  • Send us a message directly from the app you used to create the project;

  • Provide the email address(es) you may have used (list all possible ones);

  • Share the project name (this helps us search through all projects);

  • Specify the platform used to create the project (Web, iOS, Android, macOS, Windows);
