Design Generator creates interior design ideas from a reference image. You can upload an existing image or take a new photo, select a room type and design style, and view the generated designs in the Design Generator gallery.
Before you start
Platform | Availability |
Android | Available from the Feed page. Included with PRO. Free and Premium users can purchase Design Generator separately. |
iOS | Free users receive one free generation with 6 images. Users with a subscription can generate images without a stated limit. |
Web | Available from User Dashboard → Design Generator. The feature is available with PRO. |
Use Design Generator on Android
Open the Feed page.
Open Design Generator.
Tap Upload a Photo.
Select a JPEG or PNG image from your device.
Choose one of the following options:
Take a new photo with the device camera.
Select an existing image from the gallery.
Crop the image by adjusting the yellow frame.
Optional: Rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise.
Tap Next.
Select one room type for the image.
Select at least two design styles.
Tap Continue.
If a purchase screen appears, this means that you would need to purchase the Design Generator bundle and complete the purchase.
Wait while the design is generated.
The generated design appears in the Design Generator Gallery with a New label when complete.
Use Design Generator on iOS
Open Design Generator.
Tap Upload a photo.
Choose one of the following options:
Select an image from your device.
Take a new photo.
Select a JPEG or PNG image from your device.
Optional: Rotate the image clockwise.
Optional: Crop the image by dragging the yellow frame.
Tap Next.
Select the room type:
Kitchen
Bedroom
Bathroom
Office
Living room
Children's room
Select the design style.
If a subscription screen appears, complete the subscription step to continue.
Wait while the design is generated.
When generation is complete, the Design is ready! window appears. Select Yes to open the folder with generated images or No to close the window.
Use Design Generator on Web
Open Dashboard.
Select Design Generator.
Click Upload a photo.
Select a JPEG or PNG image from your device.
Select the room type.
Click Continue.
Wait while the image is uploaded and generation starts.
Refresh the page to check the generation status.
Open the generated design folder when it is ready.
The generated folder includes the original uploaded image and generated design variations.
View generated designs
Open the Design Generator Gallery to view:
Completed designs
Designs in progress
Failed generations
Completed designs can include:
Room type
Number of generated images
Status label
A New label means the generated design has not been opened yet.
Manage generated designs
Depending on the platform, you can:
Action | Description |
Save to gallery | Saves one selected image to your device. |
Save all to gallery | Saves all generated images to your device. |
Share | Opens sharing options for the selected image. |
Download | Downloads a generated image or folder. |
Delete | Deletes the generated design folder. |
Archive | Moves the generated design to the Archive section. |
Troubleshooting
Problem | Cause | What to do |
Unsupported image format | The uploaded file is not a supported format. | Upload a JPEG or PNG image. |
Design generation failed | The design could not be generated. | Upload the image again or restart the design generation process. |
