Creating Partition Walls (Windows)
Updated over a year ago

Dividing large spaces into smaller, more functional areas can greatly enhance your living space. Thankfully, the Planner 5D Windows app makes it easy to add partitions to your rooms. Here's a step-by-step guide to creating a partition wall.

  1. Launching Your Project
Start by opening the Planner 5D Windows app and selecting the project you want to work on. Once your project is open, you're ready to start adding a partition.

  2. Drawing the Partition Wall

From the tools available on the left side of your screen, select the 'Pencil' tool. With this tool selected, click on one wall where you want the partition to start. Draw a line towards the opposite wall, where you want the partition to end.

  3. Finishing the Partition Wall

Once you've drawn the line to your satisfaction, click again on the same spot to finish the drawing process. This action will create your partition wall.

  4. Customizing the Partition Wall

Now, you can see your newly created partition wall. Note that this wall is independent of the room itself: you can freely move it to another location. Likewise, any customization (like color, texture, or adding doors) needs to be done separately from the room.

With these steps, you can add partitions to any room in your Planner 5D project on the Windows app. Create separate spaces within a larger room, define different functional areas, or simply add an architectural feature. The possibilities are endless!
