Adding a Room (macOS)
Updated over 5 months ago

In a couple of clicks, you can add a room to your plan.

There are two ways to add a new room to your plan:

1. Adding a room of a predefined form;

2. Using a drawing tool.

Tip: always create each room separately. Do not create one big space to add smaller rooms inside of it. That leads to layer conflicts and can cause you a headache in later stages. Create separate rooms and put one near the other.

You can add a room of several predefined forms: square, rectangle and a room with multiple corners.

Pick the form you need and drag it to your plan. You can now squeeze or enlarge the room according to your wishes and put it next to the wall of another room.

That's it. Nice and easy!

You can also add a room by drawing it.

You can pick the room name from the list of default options. Currently, macOS app doesn't support custom room names.

Choose the drawing tool first and drag it to the plan to draw the first wall.

Create the desired form of the room and tap Done when you've created the room.

That's it. You've added an additional room to your plan. Don't forget to place doors and windows if needed before moving on to the styling part.

And that video will also help you get acquainted with the platform:
