How to create renders on Web

You can create realistic renders and basic screenshots of your design directly from the Planner 5D Editor. Before generating a render, you can adjust the quality, aspect ratio, camera position, sunlight, and lighting settings.

Before You Start

  • Start with a Draft quality screenshot to preview your design without using a render slot.

  • 4K render quality, 360 Panorama and 360 Walkthrough is available to PRO users.

  • You can use Ceiling Lighting and Auto Light Correction to adjust the lighting in your render.

Create a render

Step 1: Open the render menu

  1. Open your project in the Editor.

  2. Click the Camera icon in the upper-right corner.

  3. Review the available render options.

The available options may vary depending on your subscription plan.

Step 2: Choose a render type

  • Select Realistic Render to create a high-quality, photorealistic image of your design.

  • Select Make Screenshot to capture a simple screenshot of your model.

  • You can also add the image to AI Studio Canvas to explore design ideas. For more information, see About AI Studio image tools.

  • You can also create a 360 Panorama or a 360 Walkthrough for a more immersive view of your design. For more information, see 360 Panorama and AntiCopy and How to use the 360 Walkthrough feature.

Step 3: Adjust the render settings

Set up your render before generating it:

  • Aspect Ratio — choose portrait or landscape orientation.

  • Quality — select the preferred quality, from Draft to 4K. 4K is available to PRO users.

  • Camera Position — use the controls on the right to adjust the camera angle.

  • Save View — save the current camera perspective so you can use it again for future renders.

Step 4: Adjust the lighting and the background in the Settings

Use the available lighting options to change how the interior is illuminated:

  • Ceiling Lighting — add automatic ceiling lighting.

  • Auto Light Correction — automatically adjust the lighting in the scene.

Turn these options on or off depending on the result you want.

Add the Background to your render to make it look even more realistic.

Use the Sun section to change the Sun position and control the natural lighting in your render.

You can:

  • Drag the sun control to change its position.

  • Enter numerical values to adjust the sunlight more precisely.

Step 5: Generate the render

  1. Review your render settings.

  2. Click the green Render button in the upper-right corner.

  3. A preview appears while the render is being processed.

Find your completed renders

Open Renders saved in your selected Space to access your completed renders.
