💬 Using Comments in Your Project (Web)

Easily collaborate and keep track of notes directly inside your project using Comments.

Updated over a month ago

🔍 What are Comments?

Comments are pinned notes you can place anywhere on your plan. Each comment appears as a small icon (pin), and anyone with access to the project (with commenting enabled) can view and respond.

💡 Works in both 2D and 3D views!

🧠 Why Use Comments?

Comments come in handy when you want to:

  • 🗣 Get feedback from teammates or clients

  • 📝 Leave reminders or to-dos for yourself

  • 📍Discuss specific areas of the design

  • 🤝 Collaborate more efficiently

👉 Go to your Editor
👉 Click Comments in the Toolbar
🪄 The Comments panel will appear on the right side of the screen

In the panel, you can filter:

5. Comments in 3D Mode

  • Pins remain visible in 3D view

  • They stay near the object they’re linked to and rotate with the plan

  • If multiple comments are in one place, they’re stacked

🎨 Each pin shows the first letter of the commenter’s name and a unique color

🔐 Permissions & Access

If you're viewing a shared project:

  • You must be signed in to add comments

  • Project owners can allow or disable commenting via the Share menu

  • If commenting is disabled, the Comments button will be inactive for visitors
